BOONE COUNTY FARMER'S MARKET

Driven by consumer demand for higher quality foods, farmers markets are popping up all over the country. The city of Columbia is no exception.

Originally organized as the Direct Marketing Association in 1980, the core of the original farmer's market in Columbia reformed as the Boone County Farmer's Market in the spring of 2003, opening for business in April of that year. It was originally created for the purpose of providing growers from Boone and adjoining counties a place to sell locally-grown garden fresh produce, bedding and potted plants, frozen meats, eggs, soaps, baked goods and more.

Always fresh. Always local. All items sold must have been produced by the seller and resale of any purchased items is prohibited. We boast some of this country's finest produce. Supplies have been good so you can come early or shop late.
